Yesterday I mentioned that the Venus Pluto new cycle took place at 23 Capricorn. The meditation from Ellias Lonsdale was familiar, because just a few days ago Pluto came together with Chariklo, and today Venus forms a new cycle with this very significant centaur, again at 23 Capricorn.  Chariklo was the first centaur found to have a ring system. It is the fifth ring system found in our solar system—after Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune. With a diameter of about 188 miles (302 kilometers),Chariklo is the largest member of an asteroid class known as the Centaurs. She has a 63 year orbit, and she is a major player...

There is no symbol for Chariklo in the solar fire program (that I am aware of), but she is sitting right there with Venus and Pluto, working her very important centaur magic. This is one of those moments when you can "Know" she is there, you can imagine her there, and you can absolutely FEEL her there, if you tune in.

Mythologically, Chariklo is the partner of Chiron. They have very similar orbits, and they sit in the same area of our solar system (see the image at the top of the blog today). Both travel between Saturn and Uranus. Chiron takes 50 years, Chariklo takes 63 years. Chiron's orbit is far more eliptical than Charklo's which is pretty circular.

The last time these two came together was in 1949. That is the start of their synodic cycle. (I call it, more simply, a new cycle). Here is an interesting passage from Nick Fiorenza, from his most amazing website www.lunarplanner.com... 

"Chariklo's placement in her discovery chart indicates she imparts a protective and nurturing quality for family and covenant relations, especially for those who are unique, progressive and radical, who may not fit into the status quo. With neutrality and truthfulness she addresses the established, conservative, patriarchal authority for those she cares for to ensure the fulfillment of their soul's greater purpose or mission on Earth. Her prominent conjunction with Azmidiske indicates she holds an energy, establishes an energetic resonance, for others to ensure their personal healing, awakening and evolutionary fulfillment. This is significant to consider for Chariklo's placement in a natal chart."

Today's Venus Chariklo new cycle is undoubtedly adding to the much grander energies that are slowly building toward the major life changing new cycle that will take the next two years to manifest, and will involved Jupiter, Saturn, Earth Star (South Node), Pluto, Chariklo, Ceres and more.

In a certain way, the energies are, and will continue to be, larger than life. We can feel them, but we can't define or even identify them fully, and it has to be that way. That is a condition of our entry into the new order... Allowing the immense new energies to come together without imposing our limited mental projections into the mix. It isn't comfortable... I'm not sure life is going to be what we used to consider comfortable again.. maybe not ever... But it sure is exciting.
