There’s a very pivotal day ahead, despite being inside a Mercury retrograde cycle. The Virgo Moon becomes full at 3:26pm EST, reflecting a Pisces Sun conjunct five other planets moving through this part of our consciousness and activating it in ways we are not at all accustomed to. This is sure to stir up our souls, bring us to the verge of new aspects of our Selves, and hopefully deliver us to the newer higher dimensions of our Being.

Virgo has such an important meaning in the new cosmic consciousness. It represents the Divine Mother, the progenitor of all Christed consciousness. Without this part of our Selves there is no way to achieve the perspective required to hold the space of Love fully and constantly in our hearts,

And speaking of our hearts, Venus is very active today, coming together with Saturn just before she leaves the master degree of Aquarius and enters the Piscean collective. Once the heart gets involved, the concoction is complete and there’s no telling WHAT can come of it.

More on this in a moment, but let’s have a bit of a close look at the Virgo Moon’s reflection. The Sun, conjunct Neptune and Venus in Pisces, represents Higher Love in all its glory. Mars, Chiron and Mercury are busily producing the greatest Mind/Body upgrade ever known to humanity. The changes are palpable. Even the most ‘semi’conscious ones are totally experiencing the shift.

Mercury will retrograde back over just about everything (except Neptune). That conjunction took place on February 6th (with a corresponding parallel on the 7th), just before the Great Messenger entered his retrograde shadow. This means that the events of those two days produced the set up for the entire retrograde journey. If you don’t remember what happened in your life, it might be very useful to try, (This is why journaling is SO important).

Venus enters Pisces at 9:03pm tonight, and Pisces is one of Venus’s favorite places to be. Venus is exalted in Pisces. She is able to take our hearts soaring into the higher realms when she’s here. The fact that she will touch so many other parts of our being while she moves this sign is exciting and profound. This retrograde cycle promises to be a true and bonafide odyssey.

As the Virgo Moon tonight reflects all these archetypes, the Pisces/Virgo polarity promises to deliver what it always offers: healing of the highest order. Remain centered in the Piscean observer mode so that the reflection in the Virgoan organization process can be utilized to the best of your ability. There’s a lot of coming together on tap.

Here is Ellias Lonsdale’s meditation for today’s Full Moon, at 8 Virgo, reprinted with the author’s permission from his book Star Sparks:

Virgo 8: A man thinking up names for colors.

”The fine-tuned intelligence which can do anything and everything we ask it to as the perfect servant. It can and will orient us in time and space across the entire spectrum of experience. We will know where we are, what is going on around us, and what we can do with it. And all of this is provided free and clear. We just have this kind of awareness working for us fairly effortlessly and straightforwardly.

If we can starkly limit the territory within which we apply this aptitude, it will prove to be a true life gift. We must somehow understand that the analytical intellect is a narrow and small part of life to work within, yet definitely just what is needed when it is modest and unadorned by any ideas about how we can capitalize on or control or make good on this mind of ours for the wheeling and the dealing of the world.

Our sparkling intelligence is a gift of the gods. It is a blessing to be honored in the appropriate spirit. We set ourselves to definite objective tasks and we enjoy the proficiency and the subtlety of that instrument we use to make what needs to happen here work in the most well-orchestrated and uncomplicated models of elegance and right function.

The one trap we can fall into is believing what the mind tells us. Contrary to what we are generally told, the information, the data, the input we get from our shinning bright minds is not true, not significant, not in any deep sense. It is strictly what we tap for outer tasks which arise in the course of a day.

When the servant is well-trained and wants to do this kind of thing, there is no blame. It is to bear quantitative intelligence in such a truly workable form. Can we simply tap the outer for the outer and not jump to any conclusion based upon it’s doubts and skepticisms? Mind cant’ know certain things. All of life is glad that this is so.”

“Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today.”

– Mark Twain
