Satsang is a gathering of like-minded, like-hearted people, and it’s one of the most important things we can do for ourselves as we move collectively into a new state of consciousness. You can purchase an MP3 of my latest Satsang, a discussion of The Dimensions, recorded Wednesday, July 3, 2013, by going to: http://www.dev.thecosmicpath.com/category/downloads/monthly-satsang

Next Satsang will be Wednesday August 7th and the topic will be “How to Clear your Karma”. Registration will be available shortly…

**Due to the passing of my Beloved father I am taking a few weeks off from writing the horoscopes. Britt Martin will take over for me, and I will be back very soon. Thank you all so much for your prayers and light, and for the space that allowed me to be fully present for my Father. He left when only I was with him, and I feel so blessed to have had that amazing experience. The Daily Weather will continue as usual…

It’s hard to know which of today’s events is more important, the Saturn Station or the Cancer New Moon. They occur so close together it seems they should be perceived as one event. With Mercury retrograding back over the degree of this new Moon once before the full Moon on July 22 and once again before the next new Moon, it seems the idea of taking a moment to stop and take stock is more than a little relevant. But how does one stop in the middle of the hugest expansion ever?

Well, that’s easy, after all we’ve just been through. Stillness is always possible on the inner plane, and in fact, that capacity makes the intense motion of sudden growth so much more manageable. Practice inner stillness and detachment from the motion that is taking place anyway, and this can prove to be the most productive month you’ve ever known.

Saturn stations at 5 Scorpio, in the middle of the huge Grand Trine/Kite event of the Summer of 2013. This has the effect of prolonging the expansion. Funny, isn’t it? Expansion is not a word we would ordinarily associate with Saturn. But these are not ordinary times. Jupiter and Saturn have been working together all year to produce the space for us to enter into our new consciousness. And now we are doing just that.

Jupiter participates in the New Moon event today too, and the big planet will take the entire summer, till mid-September, to reach and trigger the degree of today’s new Moon. That’s how long this growth spurt will take. Before that is complete, Jupiter will form a new Grand Water trine with the Moon’s North Node and Chiron for much of August, and that will produce a new kind of healing and well being in any of us who is ready to take it on.

Mercury also participates in today’s New Moon as mentioned. He has been here, at the degree of the New Moon already, (on June 13), and if you take a moment to look back there, you’ll recall it was a major time (give or take a day). Everything delivered to you then is being recalled and redefined now, so it’s good, REALLY good to be as still as possible on the inside to gain as much understanding as you can of these brand new energies.

It’s a huge month ahead. Here is Ellias’s meditation for the New Moon degree… Saturn will be in his station for a few more days, so I will deliver that meditation tomorrow… This is reprinted with Ellias Lonsdale’s permission from his book Star Sparks:

Cancer 17: A woman working busily at a spinning wheel.

”Turning around with the seasons, with life’s cycles, with the changing tide. Being synchronized with the rhythm of renewal. Indwelling the home frequency of the inside. At peace within with what comes and what goes.

A subtle quality, delicate, refined, and not to be exploited. The dignity and composure of Earth and Stars as one. The feminine arts gathering toward a rich harvest.

Yet all the while being challenged, provoked, pushed and prodded to come out of there, to join the rest of us, to stop being so peculiar and eccentric. Pressured from every side to give it up, to make us all feel a little better because nobody is insisting on such a traditional posture.

The initiation involved when we are meant to stick with our intuitive feeling for life and to throw off the temptation to go against ourselves and to become somebody else. The struggle, the multi-states of the process. Much to learn along the way.

Rigidities and tenacity’s are sometimes vitally necessary. Resistance to the popular current is often wise. And here being straight and true is everything, and outer results don’t add up.

This is a distinctive way of life, one which thrives on outlasting all those false images projected onto it. Not only does this endure, it grows, and evolves into far more than could be conceived of at first.

The second wind is to get so good at being one with body, soul, seasons and elements that we can affirm and celebrate and draw forth new life abundantly. For we are the return of all good things. We are tapping a deep well. Our ways are resurgent. We see the world through.”

“Death is a beginning, not an ending. When mortals fear death, they are only holding on to their memories, all that is ever lost are past images that should be let go of. Take the Wizard’s view and welcome all losses, for each one of them signals some new beginning. Just loosen your grasp and remember that whatever you hold onto is already dead, because it has passed. Die to every moment and you will discover the way to everlasting life.”
– Merlin, from The Return of Merlin by Deepak Chopra.
