For the week of December 3, 2018
The week ahead is filled with, well, let’s call it the shadows that show up when the Light starts shining brightly. This is a week for open-hearted acceptance and a willingness to be still and present for whatever appears. The Black Moon is coming off a very wild weekend and she is still dancing with great strength and energy. She moves into Aquarius first thing this week and travels 20 degrees in just a few days, going retrograde on Saturday. This signals another round of those unveiling aspects, and they will continue right into the New Year.
While we may rejoice at the Truth’s appearance, we all know how tricky those darker forces can be. We can all feel it coming, and let’s face it, the counterbalance is showing itself with super clarity, right before our eyes. We must remember that we don’t know ANYTHING, let alone what those darker energies can do. They will do something, it’s just the natural flow of things.
No matter how awake we are, we are still living in the physical world, where duality reigns supreme and survival of the fittest is the name of the game. I keep advocating conscious use of the observer’s perch to watch this next chapter unfold. Anything less tends to produce an ego reaction. Watch for judgmentalism and the emphatic belief that you know what you’re talking about. You don’t. None of us does. We are watching a new world unfold, and we literally have no clue what we are about to see.
Of course, when we insist we do know, we create whatever vision we hold, and then we believe in that reality. The week ahead has twists and turns the likes of which we’ve never seen before. Resist the temptation to compare what you’re observing to anything that went before. When you do that, you recreate your old version, and keep your Self and those around you stuck in the past.
Please, please resist. Both Venus and Mercury spend this week in Scorpio. We are in the deep again, only this time there is an altered perspective. Again, it isn’t about thinking you know, it’s always, forevermore, about being mindfully present in the now and allowing all there is to take in be absorbed.
Mercury stations to go direct on Thursday evening (EST) after treating us all to an entire day of an active Light Bridge with Sedna. A stationing Mercury is ALWAYS good for clarity and focus. We are also in the dark of the Moon on Thursday, and the Sagittarius New Moon on Friday is conjunct Jupiter, promising more expansion.
The Black Moon turns retrograde on Saturday and then on Sunday CHIRON turns direct. Chiron’s station is very much going to feel as though after months of sinking (or faithfully swimming) toward to depths of our oceanic being, we finally hit the bottom, and earn the opportunity to push off and head for the surface again. This combined with the Sagittarian energies of the New Moon and Jupiter should prove very hopeful and positive. But it will take us until mid February to return to Aries, and until the beginning of the Spring/Autumn season to begin that new chapter… that is, to reach the surface and finally breathe some new air.
Until then, there are all sorts of shadowy, karmic, completely transformational events taking place on the surface of the planet, and if we watch, silently, knowing that we have already made this passage and survived it, we can be of great service to the planet throughout these pretty intense months ahead.
